This image was also awarded a Merit designation, and selected for the national Loan Collection, a collection of the outstanding entries of the year.

30th Century Dancer is an image created by shooting one of Cory Fuhr’s wonderful metal life-size sculptures at the Performing Arts Centre in Vernon, BC. It was one of 3 or our images accepted at the 2008 Nationals this year, and 1 of 2 selected for the national loan collection.
Digital Dean’s “Classic Tradition” was accepted and hung in the 2008 National Print Salon held in London, Ontario this April. As per the audio critique from the judges, this Wedding Group image came very close to achieving Merit status in a difficult category. This is 1 of 3 images that were accepted and hung at the nationals this year.

At the annual print competition of the Professional Photographers´ Association of BC (PPABC) held recently in Victoria, BC, Dean Cebuliak, a professional photographer from Digital Dean Photo Studios of Vernon, BC, was awarded the Best in Class trophy for “Runaway Love” in the photojournalistic wedding category. This year´s competition received 207 entries and was judged by a select panel of Master Photographers from across Canada and the USA.
This image was staged at the Historic O"Keefe Ranch and depicts a newly married couple running away from St. Anne’s church anxious to get on with rest of their blissful life. Shot in early November, this originally colour photograph was converted to warm black and white to give it a more historical look.
