Dean has had a eye for beautiful things for as long as he can remember! In 2001, with a technical background in electrical & computer design, Dean honoured his true calling and started photography full time. He began creating and printing panoramic scenic images and selling them out of a local gallery in Vernon.
Not satisfied with one revenue stream, Dean nurtured his new-found natural talent to become the photographer he is today. A lifetime of mediocrity had become a powerful combination of business, technology, and an eye for beauty that shows in much of his work.
Affectionately called Digital Dean (origin long forgotten?), Dean works out of his large home studio and caters to clients all over the country. He plays squash and golf, buys a fishing license every year, and enjoys reminiscing about his wilder days as a motocrosser and mountain biker. He loves variety, witty humour, inspirational movies, people, and aspires to live a spiritual life.
Dean contributes back to the community through volunteering time and donations, is a member of the Vernon and Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, the vice chair of the Professional Photographers Association of BC, and is a member of the Kalamalka Rotary club.
